Every Step is Good.
Running the Length of Saskatchewan
Starting May 25th 2026, I will be running the length of Saskatchewan from Stony Rapids to the southern Saskatchewan border to raise money for cancer supports.
This project is rooted in the belief that well-being is built through daily practice — through movement, time outdoors, consistency, and community. Many of life’s challenges share a difficult truth: progress rarely comes in giant leaps, but in small, steady steps. One walk outside. One conversation. One moment of fresh air. One connection with a friend. One kilometer. One intentional breath. One step forward. Often, it is these small, everyday choices that have the greatest impact. Each step we take is good.
Why I’m Running:
Running has been a personal wellness practice for me for many years. Time spent moving through nature has helped me navigate stress, loss, uncertainty, and the challenges of everyday life.
My mother passed away from leukemia at the age of 38 — the age I am turning this year. This run is a way to honour my mother, support others facing illness, and give back to the communities that shape this province.
Small steps, taken consistently, can carry us farther than we imagine.
The Route
Treaties 8, 10, 6, and 4.
The route follows Saskatchewan's road network from Stony Rapids in the north to the Montana border in the south, traveling through the four major ecozones of the province: taiga shield, boreal shield, boreal plain, and prairie.
